Founded as a feeder to Pan Am Airways. It is wholly owned by Pan Am Systems (formerly known as Guilford Transportation Industries), which owns the Pan Am brand. Pan Am ceased operations on Nov. 1, 2004 but operations were transferred to Boston-Maine Airways. In 2005, Boston-Maine Airways suspended all operations. In 2006 the airline, operating under the name Pan Am Clipper Connection, restarted service out of Tunica, MS and then move to Elmira, NY in Aug. 2006. By the fall of 2007 they cease service and by March 2008 they were out of business.
